Do I have to know how to code?

No. You sign up, set your prices, and copy a snippet of code from the portal. Either you paste that snippet into your website yourself (it's one click in most page editors), or you email it to whoever maintains your site. From then on, every price change you make in My Fuel Dock shows up on your website automatically.

Can I change my board template later?

Yes, anytime, from the portal, and almost always with no webmaster help. Day-to-day changes (prices, colors, what you show, the size, even switching your board to a different look) all take effect on their own. The one thing that brings your webmaster back is adding a brand-new board in a new spot on your site, like a second board on another page, which is a fresh paste by definition. Nothing else needs a webmaster.

What if I don't have a website?

Most of My Fuel Dock shows your prices on your marina's own website, so without one you can't use the embeddable boards. But one template needs no website at all: the Marquee. It's a full-screen price display you open on a TV, monitor, or tablet and stand up as signage around your marina, and it refreshes on its own every time you change a price. So even with no website, you can sign up, set your prices, and run the Marquee.

My website is just one page. Will it still work?

Yes. The board works on any website even if that website is just a single-page.

Will this slow down my website?

No. The price board loads in its own little frame, separately from the rest of your page. Visitors see your page first; the price board fills in a moment later. The whole board is smaller than a typical photo.

Will my board show on mobile phones?

Yes, all boards are responsive and look right on phones, tablets, and desktops. For an even better phone experience, add the Mobile Sticky Bar board: it pins a slim price strip to the bottom of the screen for phone visitors and automatically tucks your in-page boards away on phones, while your full board still shows on laptops and tablets. You add it once and it rides along wherever your boards already are, so there is no extra code and nothing to manage.

What happens when my fuel dock is closed?

You flip a switch in the portal that says "Closed." Every price board you have automatically swaps the prices out for a pink "Fuel Dock Temporarily Closed" overlay. You can add a note ("Closed for repairs") and a date when you'll reopen. The board shows both. When the date arrives, the board switches back automatically.

Can my staff update prices, or only me?

On a paid plan, you can invite as many staff members as you want, each with their own login. There are three roles: Admin (full access), Staff (price updates only), and Webmaster (everything except billing and managing other users, meant for the outside person who handles your website). On the free plan, you get one admin (you) plus one optional Webmaster.

What if I have more than one marina?

You can use the same email at multiple marinas. After you log in, a dropdown in the sidebar lets you switch between them. Each marina has its own prices, board, and settings, but you don't need separate accounts.

How does the 21-day trial work?

When you sign up, you start on the Trial tier: every premium feature unlocked from day one. The 21-day clock doesn't start until your price board first appears on a real visitor's screen (meaning you embedded it and someone loaded the page). For those 21 days, you have full access to mobile and text updates, unlimited price changes, analytics, the change log, multi-user accounts, and priority support. If you don't upgrade by day 22, the trial features turn off and you continue on the Free plan.

Is there a contract?

No. Premium is month-to-month or year-to-year, cancel any time. If you cancel, you keep the paid features through the end of the period you already paid for.

Can I pay by check?

Yes, on the annual plan. Sign up, go to Upgrade, pick Annual, and look for the small "Need to pay by check?" link. You'll get a printable invoice with our mailing address. Your account activates once your check clears.

Do you have a fuel price widget for WordPress?

Yes. My Fuel Dock gives you an embeddable price board that works on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, and any other platform that accepts an HTML snippet. Your webmaster pastes it once; after that you update prices without touching the website.

Is My Fuel Dock a fuel price widget?

It works like one, but it does more, so we call it a price board. The board shows your marina's live prices, comes in multiple designs, and lets staff update prices from the web portal, the mobile app, or a text message.

Is there a free fuel price widget for marinas?

There is always a free option. The Free Board shows your fuel prices on your website at no cost. Premium plans add eight board designs, custom colors, and more.

Can a widget show my marina's actual prices instead of national averages?

Generic fuel widgets usually pull national average prices, which are not what boaters pay at your dock. A My Fuel Dock price board shows exactly the prices you set, and it updates the moment you change them.

How do I add fuel prices to my marina's website?

Create a free account, enter your prices, and have your webmaster paste the embed snippet into your site. Setup is one paste; from then on you change prices from the web portal, the mobile app, or by text.
