Add a fuel price board to your WordPress marina website

My Fuel Dock puts a live fuel price board (sometimes called a fuel price widget) on your WordPress site. You paste one embed snippet, once. After that, marina staff change prices from the web portal, the mobile app, or a text message, and the board updates itself. There is always a free plan.

Before you start: get the embed code

The embed code comes from the marina's My Fuel Dock account: the Board setup screen has a copy button, and marinas often send it to their webmaster in a ready-made install kit email. If you don't have an account yet, creating one is free.

Installing on WordPress.org (self-hosted)

Go to the page or post where you want the price board.
Add a "Custom HTML" block (in the block editor, click +, search "HTML").
Paste the embed code into the block.
Click Preview or Publish.

Installing on WordPress.com

Heads up: WordPress.com strips iframes on Free, Personal, and Premium plans. You'll see the error "The iframe tag is not supported on this site." Only the Business plan and above (~$25/month) allows custom iframe embeds. If upgrading isn't an option, use the URL from your embed code's src="..." attribute as a regular link on your site. It opens the live board in a new tab.

Confirm your WordPress.com plan is Business or higher (see the note above if you're not sure).
Edit the page or post where you want the price board.
Add a "Custom HTML" block (in the block editor, click +, search "HTML").
Paste the embed code into the block.
Click Preview or Publish.

Which board designs work here?

All of them. In-page boards work everywhere that allows embeds at all. The board is a plain iframe, so it renders the same on WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, GoDaddy, Shopify, Weebly, Drupal, and hand-coded sites. The floating designs (Mobile Sticky Bar and Floating Corner) also work normally on WordPress.
